Class Description: Continuous Dancing
This class is very physical and blends full-bodied and dynamic movement with elements of improvisation to create a sense of continuity, athleticism and detailed dancing. We begin with traveling across the room following simple instructions and then continue into a very specific warm up designed develop balance, three-dimensional awareness of the body in space, clarity of pathways and initiation. This class culminates in a phrase taken from the company’s dynamic repertory.
