11/1 @ DX: Grooving with the Girl Scouts

On Saturday, November 1, Resident Artist Amanda Newman, Partnerships and Productions Manager Ouida Maedel, and Former Company Member/Adjunct Artist Meghan Bowden had the chance to get moving and grooving with over 90 Girl Scouts at Camp Winona.

The girls and their troop leaders were gathered for the weekend to talk about ENERGY….What is it? Where does it come from? How is it used? How do we conserve it? Why does it matter? Even though we danced late into the evening, the girls brought so much energy, focus, and creativity to our time together. Check it out below! (Warning: These girls never stopped moving, so the pictures are a little blurry!)

(Thanks to Ouida for acting as photographer, time keeper, maestro, and crowd control all at the same time!)
