To apply to the Dance Exchange Summer Institute (July 5-17)

A complete application consists of:

1. Application form (pdf) or apply online

2. Photo, can be included as part of your online application or be mailed in separately

3. Application fee of $25: If you are applying online, this can be paid online as part of your application.  If you are not applying online, please mail a check along with your application materials.  (This fee is non-refundable and is not credited toward tuition.)

     Summer Institute application due: April 30, 2010

     One half of tuition ($450) due: June 1, 2010

     Other half of tuition due upon arrival: July 5, 2010

     In addition to the above materials, if you are applying for a scholarship, please include the supplemental materials

          listed below.  Scholarships are merit-based and cover half of tuition expenses only.

 

     Deadline for submission of scholarship application: April 1, 2010

 

     Applicants contacted with decision by e-mail: April 30, 2010

 

4. Written statement (two pages or less)

What do you hope to gain from attending the Summer Institute and what impact do you anticipate the experience having on both you and the communities around you?

 

5. Résumé of your dance training, educational, and professional experience

 

6. Letter of reference

Include one letter from someone who can knowledgeably explain why you are a good candidate for the Dance Exchange Summer Institute and for a merit-based scholarship.
