Saturdays at 10-11:30AM: $5 Takoma Park MOVES for all ages - families welcome

$5/person (kids 3 and under are free) September 2017 through May 26, 2018 (No class Nov. 25, Dec. 23, Dec. 30, March 31)

A class for everyone! Takoma Park Moves recognizes the rich possibility when people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels come together to dance. Join DX artists Saturday mornings to move with a mix of families, professionals, and community members of all ages. No pre-registration required; Drop-in anytime.

 

Fridays at 9:30-11:15 AM: Friday CLASS for experienced movers 18+

$15 drop-in/$12 with a class card September 2017 through June 29, 2018 (No class Nov. 24, Dec. 22, Dec. 26, May 25)

A class for experienced movers facilitated by a rotating panel of DX artists, local choreographers, and visiting artists committed to sharing movement-based research through their teaching. No pre-registration required; Drop-in anytime.

 

Tuesdays at 6:30-8 PM: Foundations in Contemporary Dance for all levels 16+

$15 drop-in/$12 with a class card September 2017 through May 22, 2018 (No class Nov. 21, Dec. 19, Dec. 26, Jan. 2)

A class for movers of all levels, whether you are new to dance or looking to strengthen your practice. Connect with a community that cultivates creativity and curiosity, and build your capacities in contemporary dance forms alongside DX artists and local choreographers. No pre-registration required; Drop-in anytime. Upcoming facilitators include: Juliana Ponguta (Sept. 5 - Oct. 17); Patricia Mullaney-Loss (Oct. 24-Dec. 12); Hayley Cutler of darlingdance (Jan. 9-Feb. 20); and Esther Geiger (Feb. 27-Mar. 27).
