Film Screening & Conversation: The Year We Thought About Love

Join Teen Exchange and Dance Exchange artists for a viewing of The Year We Thought About Love, a documentary film that follows a Boston LGBTQ troupe, True Colors: OUT Youth Theater, as they write a play about love. With wit, grace, and attitude, a diverse troupe of LGBTQ youth transforms their personal struggles into theater for social change—starting with a simple and surprising kiss in the first act. Following the film, we’ll ignite conversation and action across age and difference around the experiences of young queer people.

We invite youth (and adults) of all gender identities and sexual orientations to join us for this conversation.
Ages 18 and under: Bring a friend and pay what you can!
Adults: $20 suggested donation at the door

RSVP (not required, but appreciated)

This event is one of the community engagements around Growing Our Own Gardens, a performance project that brings communities together across age and difference to surface and celebrate the stories, struggles, and possibilities of queer communities.
