Community & Creative Hub

Dance Exchange has been an artistic hub of creative activity in Montgomery County, Maryland—part of the greater Washington, D.C. metro area— for over four decades, and we have called Takoma Park home for more than 20 years. 

Our building, the Dance Exchange Community and Creative Hub, provides space for hundreds of people to gather, organize, teach, rehearse, and perform. More than just a building, the Hub is home to local artists and arts organizations, educators, entrepreneurs, volunteers, class facilitators, and Dance Exchange artists and staff.
