For youth ages 8-12 (grades 2-7):
In-Person Youth Exchange Program

Mondays, 5:00 - 6:00pm ET | Starts Sept. 11

In a supportive, inclusive, and youth-centered environment, Youth Exchange introduces young people to creative dance and movement basics. Youth build collaboration and leadership skills in the process of making and performing dances. Early Bird prices end August 18!

In-Person Takoma Park MOVES Class

Saturdays, 11-12:00pm ET | Starts Sept. 9

A movement class for all ages and abilities. No pre-registration required; Drop in anytime.

Online Dance On Class

Thursdays, 11:00am-12:00pm ET | Starts Sep. 14

A class geared toward older adults that cultivates connection, creativity, and greater health through dance and movement. No pre-registration required; Drop in anytime. Class is held on Zoom.

Fall 2023 Co|Lab

Dates and times vary | Starts October 7

Collaborate with Dance Exchange artists and fellow Co|Lab participants in our community choreography laboratory as you create and perform a new dance work. Early Bird prices end September 18!

For artists and instructors working with older adults:
Dance On OAC Cohort

Applications due Aug. 27 by 11:59pm ET

The 9-month program supports artists working with or interested in working with older adults by providing opportunities to train, build relationships with leaders in the field, and teach with and get feedback from Dance Exchange artists and Cohort peers.
