Join us for our third annual celebration of those who ignite change. In addition to celebrating the curiosity and generosity at the heart of our work, SPARK will honor our Executive Artistic Director, Cassie Meador, with the 2023 Catalyst Award on the occasion of her 20th anniversary season with Dance Exchange. Throughout Cassie’s two decades at Dance Exchange, her leadership and vision have built on the legacy of our founder, Liz Lerman, while supporting a growing community of artists committed to building a more embodied and resilient world. Join us for SPARK as we launch Dance Exchange’s new Climate Initiative and highlight the ways Cassie’s work is contributing to a more just and livable future in the face of the climate crisis.

Join us for appetizers and drinks, an experiential exhibit and video footage highlighting Cassie’s work, reflections from Cassie and others in the Dance Exchange network, and an opportunity to engage creatively with one of Dance Exchange’s current projects, Future Fields.
