Dance Exchange is excited to share our Fall lineup of classes and programs and introduce you to classes led by the many artists and organizations that offer programming at our Community and Creative Hub in Takoma Park.
To kick off our season, we are offering free mini-classes for both our Dance Exchange programming and the programs offered by the many creative partners who call our Community and Creative Hub home. Join us for a FREE Takoma Park MOVES class for the whole family. Stay for mini-classes for adults and children and meet the great teachers and communities who gather weekly in our studios to move and create together.

The Door Opening Ceremony will celebrate this exciting update to our space, which will allow community members to enter our building through the Maple Avenue front door for the first time in over a generation! As we kick off our season, we will also recognize and celebrate our community partners and local artists who make our Community and Creative Hub a vibrant space for connection, creativity, and collaboration.
Dance Exchange is deeply grateful to be located in the vibrant and welcoming City of Takoma Park, where creativity, community, and sustainability thrive. It is an honor to be part of such an inspiring city, and we are excited to further open our doors—both literally and figuratively—to our neighbors and collaborators.
We are thrilled to invite you to join Dance Exchange on Saturday, September 14, for a special celebration marking the opening of our new street-side front door on Maple Avenue. This new entrance is part of our facility upgrade, aligned with our ongoing Climate Initiative and a reimagining of our space to more efficiently and effectively connect with our community.
We would be honored to have you join us in celebrating this milestone for Dance Exchange and the Takoma Park community. This event is open to the public, and we hope to see you there to connect, dance, and enjoy a day filled with creativity and community spirit!
